Privacy
This site is run by Dr Jorge Pereira Campos as a personal thought-leadership and writing space. It is intentionally minimal in what it collects.
What is collected
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which essays are read, from which countries, and via which sources. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and processes IP addresses, device information, and page-view data via Google. It is used solely to help shape future writing — never for advertising, remarketing, or sale to third parties.
If you fill out the contact form, your name, email address, optional affiliation, and message are sent directly to the site owner via email. They are not stored elsewhere and are not used for marketing.
What is not collected
No advertising or remarketing pixels are embedded. No user accounts, comments, reactions, or behavioural profiles exist. The site does not sell or share data with third parties beyond Google Analytics for the purpose described above.
Your rights under UK and EU data protection law
If you are based in the UK or the EU, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data the site holds about you, and to object to processing.
If you have submitted a contact-form message and would like it deleted from the owner's inbox, write to jorge@drjorgecampos.com and the message will be removed.
To change your cookie consent decision for this site, use the button below. The cookie banner will reappear on your next page view, and you can choose again.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
